How To + Styling

Morning: With dry hands, apply one pump Daily Oil Cleanser directly to dry skin. Massage gently, waking up the skin and increasing circulation. Wash off with warm water. 

Night and as needed: Start with dry hands and the Daily Oil Cleanser. Massage gently into dry skin, concentrating on areas with makeup, SPF or dirt build up. Wash off with warm water. Immediately follow with Lactic Acid Gel Cleanser. Mix two pumps with water and gently massage into skin, avoiding the eyes. Rinse with warm water.

Super cleansing duo

"This cleansing duo is as good as it gets. One and a half pumps of the oil I find is right amount and it glides on with no tugging. Lovely texture to massage in. Apply some water and then take it off with cotton wool pad, takes off VB eye makeup as well. With the face wash don't expect a frothy lather. It has slight foaming action but not much. Smell is unusual but not unpleasant although I can see why some say slight vinegar tinge to it. Washes off more easily and completely than other face washes and leaves skin feeling clean but lovely and soft 👍"

"Je trouve que les deux produits sont fantastiques : L’huile démaquille parfaitement et en douceur et le nettoyant laisse ma peau nette et douce, je suis conquise de ce côté là. Par contre je suis très très déçue par le flacon de l’huile qui a un défaut : lorsque je presse la pompe, de l’huile sort également sur les côtés de la pompe… ce doit être un défaut de fabrication, mais cela est très décevant car nous devrions être à un niveau de qualité au moins égal à celui des produits mais aussi du prix. Cela entraîne de la perte de produit et je n’ose pas emporter l’huile dans ma trousse de toilette de peur qu’elle fuit à l’intérieur, c’est bien dommage."

Beautifully packaged, works, but would not rebuy

"Beautifully packaged, and the turn/lock mechanism on the pump is very much appreciated. Both the cleansing oil and the Lactic Acid Gel Cleanser are made in Japan. On the cleansing oil - Because it is made in Japan, I thought it might be very similar to - or potentially the exact same formula - as the Shu Uemura cleansing oil. In my experience, I've used the green bottle Shu Uemura cleansing oil for 10+ years and found the VBB one to be thicker and more difficult to use. The VBB oil works well; however, I prefer the texture of the Shu Uemura one. Lactic Acid Cleanser - Is basically the consistency of skim milk. While I find the combination of the oil cleanser and lactic acid cleanser to work well, I can't say that I enjoy this more than my Skinceuticals one. Long story short - it is beautifully packaged, works well, however I would not buy it again. The value is just not there for me, particularily at 100mL per bottle. Purchasing a 450mL Shu Uemura cleansing oil on sale and any Skinceuticals acid cleanser is infinitely more value without question."
